Theme #20: RGBA(1)

Mobile bloggers: have you ever wanted to change your desktop theme, but were forced to wait till you got to a computer? Have you found yourself wishing the colors on your mobile theme would synchronize across devices so you wouldn’t end up with clashing color schemes, but (understandably) don’t want to use Optica? Look no further.

This is the first theme from my new RGBA() series, a line of simple, light, accessible themes that take under two minutes to fully set up. Because they are designed for quick use, these themes are ideal for anyone who wants a clean desktop theme without spending ages getting it to look right. And this is the best part - its colors synchronize with your mobile theme, so you can control how your blog looks from anywhere.

The series is named after the syntax for semi-transparent colors for a good reason - it recycles varying opacities of a single accent color throughout the page, creating a harmonious look with very little effort on the user’s part. Regardless of whether you’d rather use custom colors on desktop or you prefer the mobile-optimized version, the theme only needs three colors from you - text color, the background for the text, and an accent.

I’d really appreciate reblogs on this one, the better to help people who could really use something like this haha.

• Icons - There are quite a variety of icon options you can use for your sidebar links. You can even change their color! How cool is that!
  
• Fonts - Tons of fonts, just so you can pick whatever one your heart desires. You don’t have to worry about them slowing down your blog’s load time either, because the script will only be loading the ones you end up picking rather than every option I put in.
  
• Reblog/Like buttons - Change them to any color you want rather than just white, black, or grey. 
  
• Non-obnoxious credits - Choose where you want the credit to be along with which icon it features. I felt it would make things a bit less painful.
  
• Infinite Scroll
  
• Customizable tooltips
  
• Hover transitions

i know this looks like ur regular theme that has been done like 32786928 times already, but hear me out– it’s super customisable!! i honestly went overboard with the metas ;_; that means you have over 50 options to choose from to make it unique! i added so many options i forgot the existence of them so all the previews look the same (lol)

my favourite features are:

• optional popup welcome message!! * more on this below the cut. it can be very useful!

i made this to fulfill my latent dream of a geocities tumblr theme, but one that’s still functional and easy to read. another notable thing is the sidebar icon doesn’t use anti-aliasing so you can use pixel art without it being fuzzy and squished! it’s not supported on every browser, though.

features:

• custom favicon/optional custom cursor
  
• 5 custom links
• 200px or 100px sidebar icon, crops to square & has no anti-aliasing so pixel art isn’t fuzzy when resized
